Candidates who are interested in applying to the program should be members of a diverse population that is underrepresented in the legal profession. Candidates should have an anticipated graduation date of spring 2021 and must be able to participate in Cleary Gottlieb’s 2019 New York Summer Associate Program for a minimum of 8 weeks. After completion of a successful summer program, 1L Summer Associates will be eligible to receive an offer to return to the firm as summer associates in 2020.
