Our unique Two-Summer Patent Program for Patent Strategy & Prosecution is aimed at developing the next generation of Morrison & Foerster patent prosecutors. We invite you to work over two full summers to develop the diverse set of skills needed to launch your career in patent law. By participating in our Two-Summer Patent Program for Patent Strategy & Prosecution, you will:
receive extensive training in all aspects of patent prosecution, as well as an opportunity to do analysis work, due diligence and litigation support;
participate in the firm’s unique Patent Boot Camp training program;
be mentored by our leading IP partners;
receive financial support to take the USPTO exam; and
be eligible to receive a $25,000 bonus.*
Initial entry is limited to first-year law students who view the Patent Prosecution Group as the practice they will join upon graduation.
Applicants must be a registered patent agent or qualified to take the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office Exam.
For our San Francisco Office , we are seeking candidates with engineering, computer science, physics, life sciences, chemistry and/or medicine (graduate-level degree preferred for life sciences and chemistry) backgrounds.
