The Southern Environmental Law Center is accepting applications for the Glynn D. Key Diversity Fellowship. This entry-level position, which will start in late summer or early fall 2019, is open to recent law graduates and practicing attorneys who want to be part of an organization that is successfully addressing some of the most important and challenging public health and environmental issues in the Southeast and the nation. Fellows gain valuable experience and knowledge working with more senior attorneys on litigation and legal advocacy in state and federal courts and before regulatory agencies. The Fellowship could be based in any of the following SELC offices: Chapel Hill, Atlanta, Charlottesville, Charleston, Asheville, Birmingham or Nashville. The term for this fellowship position is two years with the possibility of a third year.

Qualifications and Compensation:
This entry-level position is open to recent law graduates and practicing attorneys. A strong academic background and commitment to SELC’s mission are required. Litigation experience or background in environmental law preferred. The successful applicant will support the Southern Environmental Law Center’s work on a wide range of matters. Salary is $67,000 – 76,000 depending on experience and includes an excellent benefits package. Interested persons should apply now.
