The 2019 Perkins Coie 1L Patent and Patent Litigation Fellows will be selected based on the following criteria:
Candidates must be a first-year law student in good standing pursuing the degree of Juris Doctor at an ABA accredited law school.
Candidates must have a strong academic record as well as experience that demonstrates great promise for a successful career in the legal profession.
Candidates must have the technical or scientific background necessary for the practice group’s work. Applicants with prior professional technical or scientific experience are preferred.
Candidates for Phoenix must have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Candidates with professional experience in engineering preferred.
Applicants for Patent Prosecution positions must be admitted to or be eligible to sit for the Patent Bar.
