Description:
Seeking bright forward-thinking attorney for a growth opportunity to join a very well-regarded South Jersey estate and elder law boutique to support a very busy elder law/estate planning practice. Responsible for drafting, reviewing and organizing legal documents for attorney review and client management. Support primary counsel.

Primary responsibilities
  • Will have working knowledge in all aspects of asset preservation, wills, estate, elder law, Medicaid planning, and the applicable tax work for a wide variety of clients.
  • Provide substantive feedback on all document drafts
  • Manage case workflow, keeping primary lawyer updated.
  • Research issues before the court.
  • Interact with primary counsel, firm clients, paralegal, court personnel and others.
  • Keep abreast of changes in relevant laws.

Secondary responsibility
  • Actively seek new firm business in areas of growing expertise.
  • Estate litigation experience in New Jersey Probate Court should be part of successful candidates’ experience.

The successful candidate is and possesses:
  • Highly reliable and possesses excellent language, editing, proofreading and computer skills.
  • Will be required to proactively attract new clients in areas of firm expertise.
  • Exemplary interpersonal, diligence, attention to detail, problem-solving, initiative, time management and the ability to follow-up and work independently.

Experience Prerequisites
