Position Summary DocuSign, Inc. is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic intern to work with its in-house legal team. The intern will have exposure to various aspects of the corporate legal environment, including contract review and negotiation, marketing and public relations review, intellectual property, privacy and security, and law department management. We are a small, highly collaborative team, so the intern will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, with the opportunity to tailor the position to the intern’s interests and skills.
This paid internship is for Summer 2019. This position is an Individual Contributor and reports to a Corporate Counsel.
Conduct legal research on legal issues relevant for a SaaS company.
Review and draft commercial agreements including non-disclosure agreements, master subscription agreements and professional services agreements.
Maintain and organize corporate records.
Conduct due diligence review including analysis of contracts and corporate records.
Assist with developing Legal templates and processes.
Assist with special projects and initiatives.
Support and collaborate with members of the Legal team.
Basic Qualifications Candidates must be full time law students entering his or her 2L or 3L year.
Experience in the tech industry or previous experience in a corporate legal department.
Organized with high attention to details.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to think outside the box.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
