Netflix has developed the Production Legal Lab, an entry-level training program designed to help attorneys transition to careers in production legal. Following the completion of the Lab, the Junior Counsel will be assigned to work with in-house production attorneys and paralegals on Netflix originals ranging from scripted and unscripted series to feature films.
The curriculum will include but not be limited to:
Entertainment law basics, to build a solid foundation of knowledge in content distribution and intellectual property.
The nuts and bolts of development, including drafting rights acquisition agreements, conducting chain of title analysis, and engaging writers and casting directors.
Production 101, including drafting above-the-line and below-the-line agreements and providing thoughtful production oversight.
Instruction and Q&A sessions with subject matter experts across a variety of disciplines, including creative development, finance, physical production, intellectual property, union and labor, music and technology.
Requirements Candidates must:

J.D., a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a practicing attorney and membership in good standing in at least one state bar.
