The Brandeis University Program in Legal Studies seeks to hire a Lecturer (80% time) for a renewable three-year term starting Fall 2019. Teaching duties are four courses per year, two of which cover the Program’s capstone internship requirement; plus two courses as determined in consultation with the Program Director. Additional service to the Program may include a share of student advising, organizing special lectures, and developing new courses central to the Program’s future needs, in continuing consultation with other Program faculty. Service to the University may include special events and participation on faculty committees.
Successful applicants will have substantial professional legal experience in the Boston area, plus a superior record of teaching legal subjects to undergraduates. J.D. degree required.
This appointment is to a position that is in a collective bargaining unit represented by SEIU Local 509.
