Qualcomm is looking for an experienced attorney for its in-house legal department in San Jose, California, supporting its automotive and location businesses. The successful candidate will focus primarily on commercial transactions in a technology-based environment negotiating, drafting, and analyzing a wide variety of sales, technology, licensing, supply and procurement agreements. Additionally, youll advise our clients on process issues, business strategies, and general legal risks related to these businesses. We are looking for candidates that are proactive, have extraordinary attention to detail, and show excellent judgement. We value candidates that work independently and collaboratively. General Responsibilities: Draft and negotiate a wide variety of contracts, including complex software license, supply and distributor agreements. Vet products for process compliance and advise the business during the product development and release cycles. Provide legal support and advice to the business unit, including sales, product management, operations, engineering and finance. Assist in other general transactional matters as needed.

Minimum Qualifications 5 - 7 years prior experience are required in the following areas:
- Attorney experience in a transactional and high technology focused environment.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating and drafting complex technology agreements.
Preferred Qualifications - Excellent organizational skills with attention to details. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrix organization.
