OpenGov’s Legal Intern role is a paid, 12-week program beginning in June and ending in August. The program offers a great experience to current law school students looking to get a head start on their legal career. Working with the General Counsel, you will learn what it’s like to work in an in-house legal department at a growing, fun technology company and get exposure to a range of legal and financial areas from contracts, employment, corporate governance, IP and commercial matters.
This internship pays $18/hr and located in Redwood City
Drafting and reviewing, NDAs, marketing, sales and purchasing contracts and templates.
Entry of sales contract into SFDC.
Copyright and trademark registrations.
An undergraduate degree and current enrollment (first or second year) in a top-tier law school.
Coursework or experience in contract drafting and negotiation.
Familiarity with various contract types, terms, and business practices.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Gmail, and SFDC.
Superior written and interpersonal communication skills.
High attention to detail - analytical aptitude important.
Team player who is always willing to jump in to help other teams as needed.
Constantly raising the bar with your confidence and professional demeanor.
