About the Position: As the Market Director and Senior Legal Counsel, you will run and drive growth in the Charlotte market while also overseeing the completion of all title work. This role is a perfect fit for a legal professional with sales chops. You will lead the charge in proving that the real estate closing industry is ready for novel technology, lower pricing, and faster service.

Details on the Role:
Oversee title and closing for all projects in Charlotte, NC; review and sign closing documents; attend closings
Manage local paralegal and/or closing officers to ensure best-in-class service
Develop and execute local sales strategy; build a sales pipeline, prospect, and originate new closings monthly
Own growth, performance, and the P&L for Charlotte, NC
Liaise with closing officers to refine closing playbook
Work with General Counsel to refine risk assessment playbook
Share best practices with other markets
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing real estate lawyer; more experience is strongly preferred
Current or prior legal experience involving the closing of real estate transactions
Member of the North Carolina Bar
Current or prior experience in a business development role; you have a legal background but are also a hunter with a passion for outside sales; you enjoy growing top line revenue and have a track-record to prove it
You are persistent, resilient, entrepreneurial, humble, mature, confident, and client-minded; you can command attention and respect in a room with multiple parties
