Description:
We’re looking for a kinetic, hands-on individual to work with leaders across the organization and be part of a high performing team. This role will be focused on our technology and go-to-market partnerships, involving the structuring, drafting and negotiation of complex technology transactions, spanning integrations, in-bound licensing, and channel sales. This role will report into our Managing Counsel of Legal, Partnerships. This position is located at Box’s HQ in Redwood City, CA.

Who you are
In order to be a successful member of the Legal team at Box, you will:
  • Have 7+ years of relevant legal experience, with a mixture of in-house and law firm experience preferred
  • Have experience with cloud business models, together with the related legal and technical issues
  • Be highly collaborative and able to organize and manage projects with multiple stakeholders and groups
  • Be accustomed to working in a 'start-up' environment and helping a business grow
  • Strong knowledge of and experience applying U.S. and European privacy and consumer protection laws to SaaS platforms
  • Be a fast learning, self-starter with an outstanding record and demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Mindful and high EQ: someone who understands her/himself well, is introspective and intentional
  • Be tactful, with strong internal and external negotiation skills
  • Be detail oriented, well organized and technically adept
  • A “team player” and exceptional collaborator
  • Have an accredited law degree and a current license.
