  • Responsible for conducting legal work on a high volume of employment matters, and for assisting in providing employment-related legal advice, counseling and service to the corporation, its officers and employees.

Essential Duties:
  • Provide legal advice and counseling to managers and the HR department on day-to-day workplace legal issues.
  • Provide litigation support for non-compete & EEO claims; prepare litigation holds, conduct witness interviews and coordinate responses on discovery requests.
  • Prepare employment agreements for select field employees.
  • Prepare severance and release agreements for field employees; coordinate/send initial C&D letters.
  • Assist in preparing ADA interactive correspondence for employee leaves of absences.
  • Prepare and escalate employee repayment/collections issues.
  • Assist in acquisition data room review as necessary.
  • Assist in interfacing with federal and state government agencies regarding employee complaints, investigations, audits and other agency matters.
  • Assist in advising the HR department regarding relevant changes in labor and employment law.
  • Assist in review and drafting of employee manuals and policy statements.
  • Assist in developing and delivering training programs on employment-related issues for Company employees and managers.
  • Assist in workplace investigations.
