A Full-Service Law Firm Las Vegas office is currently seeking a Part-Time Insurance Coverage/Insurance Litigation Attorney.This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys with insurance coverage opinion drafting and litigation experience who are interested in joining a growing, dynamic team as part of a national law firm.
The Position:
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited Law School
- Admitted to practice and experience in the state of Nevada
- 3+ years of insurance coverage and defense litigation experience
- Experience in evaluating insurance coverage under general liability, umbrella/excess, auto, and /or professional liability policies a plus
- Experience preparing pleadings, discovery, depositions and motion practice
- Superior written and oral communication skills required
- Legal project management experience is helpful
Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end
- Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects
- Regularly handle court appearances and depositions
- Communicate with clients and provide status reports
